The NCT is a charity, and its work is funded by membership fees and fundraising activities. If you are interested in childbirth and parenting, the NCT needs you.

By joining the NCT you will be helping us to make parenting a better experience, by campaigning to improve maternity services and services for new parents. Your membership funds the NCT’s research at a national level to enable parents to have all of the relevant information they need to make informed choices during pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood.

Membership enables us to continue training new volunteers, antenatal teachers, breastfeeding counsellors and postnatal support workers. Your membership will ensure that the NCT is here to support your children when they become parents.

How much will it cost?

Membership covers up to 2 people at the same address. All members receive the NCT's lively and informative magazine New Gen, containing accurate, well-researched articles on a range of subjects from pregnancy through to life as a parent.  You will also receive our branch newsletter CoNCepT with interesting features, local news and information about local events. 
…and of course you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that you’re helping the NCT help other parents and babies.
