The Branch holds sales of quality nearly new maternity clothes, baby and children's wear, nursery equipment and toys in the Spring and Autumn. Great bargains can be found and NCT members get in before the public for first picks!

Our next nearly new sale is the Toy Sale (good quality toys, books, videos, jigsaws, bikes etc.) which will be held on Saturday 6 December 2008. Come along and pick up some bargains for Christmas!

More about Nearly New Sales

Only a limited number of sellers can sell at each Nearly New Sale, to ensure we have sufficient space to display everything.  Registration is operated on a first come, first served basis, within our registration period – please don’t register outside these dates. To register, email nctnearlynew@hotmail.co.uk or phone 07005 807022 and leave your name, address and telephone number, and a pack will be posted to you.

Seller's Packs for the Toy Sale in December are available from Monday 10th November (NCT members) or Monday 17th November (non-members).

What can I sell?

At our clothes and equipment sales in March and September you can sell good quality baby and children’s clothes, equipment (e.g. high chairs, cots, buggies) and maternity wear/equipment.  The upper age limit for children’s clothes is age 8.

At our Toy Sale in December you can sell all types of baby and children’s toys.

There are some items which we are unable to sell such as car seats, baby bouncers, mains powered electrical equipment, breast pumps, and baby bottles/teats. A full list is given in the guidelines.

 

Fancy getting the pick of the bargains?

Volunteer to help at the sale for at least 2 hours, and you can buy before the sale opens.  We need helpers on the Friday evening before the sale, and all day Saturday to help with setting up, running the sale, and clearing up afterwards.  You do not need to be an NCT member to volunteer.
