Get Involved!

Volunteers, parents and expectant parents just like you, run our branch. You don’t need to take on huge tasks, and you don't have to join the committee (though if you can, we'd love to have you!) - there are jobs that require very little time. Perhaps you can make use of your previous experience and skills to represent the NCT.

Volunteers are always required to help with all sorts of activities. You could take on a specific role within the branch or just help out occasionally with branch events. It's a great way of meeting people and making new friends!

Committee posts require different types of people with different skills and there really is something for everyone, no matter how much or little time you think you may have to offer. Support is always given by the rest of the committee and not only do you get a sense of pride and achievement for your efforts, you are likely to make friends and gain some useful experience to add to your CV.
